Casual Deal Carrot Sales Agents
The Casual Sales Agent simply makes referrals to Deal Carrot about potential merchants upon a form [click here] - this alerts potential Deal Carrot merchants about the service and allows them to respond. This communication also identifies to Deal Carrot who made the recommendation and provides them with 800 shares if the merchant is subsequently used. Any user may act as a Casual Sales Agent by recommending a merchant they feel is ideal for Deal Carrot. It is an excellent way of earning more Deal Carrot shares.
If another Deal Carrot user has already recommended a merchant previously, the system will alert you to this. All previous merchant recommendations are stored and compared with new recommendations - the merchants' email addresses are used as the mechanism to compare. If a similar email address for a merchant has been recommended previously, this will be immediately flagged to the person making the recommendation. If an alternate email address is used for a merchant that is already signed up, then the Deal Carrot Administrative process will pick this up later in the merchant suitability process and flagged. If the domain is the same as an already existing merchant, but the recipient at the domain is different, a warning message is instantly relayed.
